Tough Times in the Rockies

Its fair to say I have a Love/ Hate relationship with Lake Louise. Its one of the most beautiful ski areas i have ever been to, The Fairmont Chateau hotel is exceptional and the race conditions we had there were amazing.

On the flip side, Me and the race hill arent exactly best buds. After a nasty crash on the 1st training and a terrible accident of my team mate in the 3rd training. I wasnt in the best state of mind to race some Downhill. My confidence was crushed, my head was a mess so therefor my performance was terrible. A week on and im still having problems from my crash the 1st day. A visit to the hospital later and im cleared to race. Bone bruising really is a bitch though!

Putting the last few weeks behind me, im starting to rebuild. Baby steps. Iv just arrived in Panorama for the last races before i head home for xmas. Im sensing me and this hill are going to get along just fine.
